On 25 February 2012 in Tbilisi, Georgia took place the National Specialized Monobreed Dog Show "Tarti 2012" in which owners of such breeds dogs as Kavkazskaia Ovtcharka and Georgian Mountain Dog participated.

The Fédération Cynologique de Géorgie (FCG) would like to announce that a new "Grand Champion of Georgia" Title has been established since October 2011.
The Title will be awarded to dogs twice winners in "Champion" Class and which obtained two "Class Winner" certificates from two different Judges on two separate Dog Shows.
